Lines! When I alter the displays angle

Hello. There are horizontal lines and doubling text on my A1534 screen.

I suppose its one of the flex cables that connects to the screen as the lines and flickering changes when moving the lid. Is that flat ribbon changeable or is there something thats attached soldered to the screen?

Sadly, the LCD ribbon cables from the T-CON board which is the part that dangles from the display is the issue. Here’s an image of the cables

Review this guide Retina MacBook 2015 Display Assembly Replacement see if the cables are damaged or the insulation is worn off. Sometimes wind blown grit can get in and over time the insulation gets worn away. Otherwise you’ll need a new display.
