Sadly, the LCD ribbon cables from the T-CON board which is the part that dangles from the display is the issue. Here’s an image of the cables

Review this guide [guide|44274] see if the cables are damaged or the insulation is worn off. Sometimes wind blown grit can get in and over time the insulation gets worn away. Otherwise you’ll need a new display.
