Have you recently opened the case to look inside / replace something / or other reason?

Maybe the LCD cable has either come lose, not connected fully, or developed some fault.

Check that 1st, and if the issue still persists then you have a deeper issue somewhere.....

@livfe - Lines on the screen points to a damaged LCD display. As he is stating both horizontal and vertical the screen has a puncture point within the middle somewhere where the two meetup. If it was only one direction it’s often a damaged T-CON cable to LCD panel.
