How to clean the drain pan for a Frigidaire FFTR1835VS. Part numbers are Condenser 5304519669 and Pan 5304519674.

To properly clean the pan you need to remove it from the underside of the refrigerator.

To do this you need to empty the refrigerator (and freezer) and then disconnect the power to the refrigerator.

Next, move the refrigerator forward enough so that you can tilt it backwards at the top and lean it against the wall behind it, so that you can access the pan from underneath, where it can be unclipped and removed. Place a protective cloth, towel etc between the fridge and the wall to prevent damage to either.

Make sure that you have plenty of towels etc in case there is still water left in the pan when removing it ;-)

Be safety aware. Ensure that there is either someone holding the fridge in position or if doing this by yourself that you somehow contrive a method beforehand that will stop the refrigerator from sliding forward (at the bottom) due to the leaning angle of the fridge, whilst you're working underneath it.

Note: Never place a refrigerator in a horizontal position as this can cause problems within the sealed system.
