The Husky Air Compressor TA-2530B is a portable, oil-lubricated machine with a 2.5HP motor and a 30-gallon tank. Where is the unloader valve for this?

I have this air compressor, when their is air in the tank the motor will stall. Sounds like the unloader valve. But the diagram does not list anything as an unloader valve. Is this valve part of another assembly?

Hi @cgulotta

Perhaps it is known as the safety valve.

See p.15 of the user manual for its location and how to test it.

If it is faulty unfortunately there is no spare part number listed for it in the manual's parts list - see p.19 Item #63 for description

The pressure relief valve is on top of the cylinder head per the drawing. Is the tank full , maybe it’s at max pressure that will stop the motor from running maybe a gauge is wrong try bleeding the tank with an air hose with a tool or air blower. While plugged in if it’s at max pressure and you drop it down it should automatically start backup
