Not sure how you came to that conclusion. Did you review the iFixit guides we have here? iPhone Repair Guides, the issue is getting the needed parts as Apple has put the squeeze to dissuade use of unauthorized parts.

Apple is now in the process of breaking some of the parts pairing they were doing as the Right to Repair movement is being taken as a persons right by many government’s.
