My Apple MacBook Pro will not turn on

Hi, I have a 2020 MacBook Pro model A2251. A few months ago it would not turn on, I followed every steps I found online, still nothing. I took it into Apple, and they could not figure it out either. Later that night I just held the power button for 10 seconds over and over again for almost 2 hours and I was able to get it to turn on. It was working perfect until last week. I was working on my computer, I got a 10% battery warning, and I just shut the computer without plugging it in. The next day it would not turn on again. I didn’t mess with it much until the last two days, and it still has not turned on. What could the issue be? I’m so confused because when it first did this, it was working perfect, then it just did not turn back on, and then it worked perfectly fine again.

To diagnose this further you will need a USB-C power meter to plug into the one of the ports with your power brick. It will tell you if the power circuitry within your system is working correctly or not and if the battery is charging at all.

This series did encounter a high failure with one of the chips. So far the feeling is if you tend to run your battery down quite low and then recharge stresses this chip. The way you will know is the voltage will step between two levels. If you have the tools you can even validate if the chip is blown. Give this a view How most 16" Macbook Pros often kill themselves & why they're unfixable so depending on what you encounter you may need a new logic board.
