why is my printer say no paper and it’s a tray full of paper? i brought new paper just to try it out and saying same thing

there is a switch that senses paper. You need to find it and determine why it isn't working.
Could be a bent actuator or defective switch or loose switch.

Based on Marilyn's comment, I had another thought -- If it is a dual cassette machine, it may be that you have accidentally selected the wrong tray for it to pull from. You could add some paper to both, or check your printer configuration carefully.

@rachelgree80709 here is the Epson ET 4760 Service Manual. The Paper Out error can be a failed PE or PW sensor. You do want to check those. Make sure they are clean and that the flex cable is properly connected etc. Check page 45 for the error and page 19 shows you the location for the sensor.

It is best not to add your problem to someone else's thread. You probably have a different unit and you are also not posting enough information. We are very knowledgeable, but we can't read minds. You need to draw us a picture as complete as possible. Otherwise, take it to a tech who can observe everything that is happening.
