Keyboard stopped working trackpad works fine
I have an M2 MacBook Air. Recently my laptop keyboard stopped working after flipping it to clean the back plate. No liquid spilled on the keyboard itself. I ran the diagnostic and it gave me an error NKD001 that the keyboard might have issues. Is this a software issue or hardware issue and what is the procedure to fix this?

Depending on where you live you might have a two year product warranty! Given the window of time is tight I would get to an Apple Store or authorized reseller to have the system fixed under warranty.
If you don’t have the two year warranty did you get AppleCare+ even still you might still have a chance if issue is covered under an extended warranty program. Other wise it’s going to cost you!
