Apple logo cycling on and off after battery replacement

Repair information and guides for the iPhone 6S released by Apple on September 25, 2015. Models: A1688, A1633

Just replaced the battery based on ifixit instructions, but having issues.

Apple logo keeps popping up while connecting to charger.

goes off once charging is removed. I put all connections back per instructions but not sure if I messed up something. Please advise.

Hi,

Your iPhone will not boot on the charger if the motherboard does not detect the battery.

It could either be one of the following:

1: Faulty battery

2: The battery is not connected

3: Motherboard is short

If your iPhone worked before the battery replacement, you can rule out a shorted motherboard.
