Panasonic FZ1000 II LCD screen backlight not working

Hi all,

i have a Panasonic DMC-FZ1000 II where the LCD screen backlight is not working,

the screen works and can be seen if you tilt the camera to one side but there's no backlighting whatsoever.
I have replaced the driver board and the actual screen, and the connecting cable but still cant get this working, im assuming the motherboard has an issue, does anyone have the pin outs for the screen so i can check if the mother board is sending any voltage out to the screen ?

@chrisbickley Since we can't see your circuit boards, this is hard to point out. It does sound like an issue with the backlight circuit. Most cameras have a backlight fuse as well as a power fuse. Do check on your camera PCB's for any "odd looking" component. Then post some pictures of what all of that looks like, with your Question.

@chrisbickley it sounds like an issue with the backlight power. You said you replaced the LCD screen and the Driver board but you did not tell us what you are referring to as the driver board. This could easily be an issues with a DC-DC converter. Check the Backlight (BL) connector on the main board as well as on the LCD connector for DC power.

Ive added a picture of the mother board, ive checked the connectors and they seemed fine in fact, the two connector cables which are absent here are new also.

As i dont have a service manual for the FZ1000 II (i dont think they are available ?) i dont know where to start with this or probe to see where power should be coming from to the LCD screen.
