Ps vita not charging

Hello,

i have a ps vita that has stopped accepting a charge, i opened up the vita, disconnected the battery, reconnected it, then closed it back up. I checked by plugging it into a charger and it started charging but when i took it off the charger, after a while it wouldn’t charge anymore. I used an application called battery fixer on the vita that worked for some people and it didn’t work. I also tried multiple chargers and no luck. Is this a battery issue? I also want to know if anyone else had this issue so i know im not alone. I asked chat gpt and it said get a new battery but because first of all ai isn’t that smart yet and because i live in the uae and its hard to find any device batteries in the uae.And someone please tell me were to get a ps vita battery in the middle east.
