1 button slightly unresponsive. Cleaning had no effect.

The 1 button on my Wii remote doesn't respond to soft presses, only hard presses. I opened and cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs to no effect. There was also no visible corrosion or dirt.

Well, the only left to do is to clean it (usually this always work). The only thing left to do now is to replace the rubber and test it again, if this failed, then use some sand paper and carefully go over the button circuit (only for "1").

If this failed as well, then it's motherboard related and need to be replaced.
