Apple's top-of-the-line smartphone for 2021. Released September 24th, the iPhone 13 Pro Max sports a 6.7" ProMotion OLED display, a new triple rear camera system, and 5G connectivity. Successor to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Replace an individual rear camera?

Is it possible to replace just the individual main rear camera on the module itself over replacing the entire module? The 0.5 and 3x cameras work perfectly fine and when looking at the camera module it almost looks like each camera is removable but I have yet to find any information on such. Any help or tips would be appreciated 👍🏻

I believe this can be done, but it is not a user friendly process. Just getting into the camera assembly to remove one of the individual bits is quite difficult (ask me how I know) and the cameras themselves are delicate and easy to damage.

Replacing the whole assembly is much easier. I have also not seen just an individual camera sold. Front camera apart from the True Depth assembly, yes. But not individual camera within the rear assembly.
