Boot Chime - Screen Flashes on - Then nothing...
So today I changed the display cable as the hinge was broken on the old one, I took hours and extreme care and followed the guide exactly as it isn't the easiest of jobs, connected everything back up and on the 1st restart I got a chime and a white screen which went brighter as if the OS was loaded but there was only a white screen.... so I checked everything over and everything appears fine, all neatly back together as if there was no repair.... I carefully connected the display cable to the logic board again, booted up again and to my horror it chimes and the screen flashes on, then goes black and nothing is happening internally or externally..... I even put back the old cable and the same is happening, so I changed back to the new cable and hinge.... I guess I have I screwed it up completely or is there a known reason why this is happening? I searched the net for solutions and similar issues, all I found was to reset SMC and PRAM.... which has made no difference. Baffled.

Fan is spinning...... but as soon as the screen turns on (Then immediately goes off) nothing else is happening..... I guess something has blown up on me.... what is the name of the part where the display cable connects to on the screen? A thin black plastic piece that has 2 connections on it, maybe I hurt the backlight cable part? Need to know the name of this part so I can search it.....There is no clear guide that II could find that shows how to deal with it.... only when the whole glass is out.... Flexgate if thet what it is called although it is a fixed part looks intact no visible damage, looks fine, everything intact.
