Error code E01 (Thermistor issue, maybe). Any self fixes for this?

Breville warranty site says 'E01' is a non-resettable error and the oven needs to be sent to their repair service. Trying to avoid that, web searches point to this being a potential temperature sensor malfunction. Any chance this is something that can be fixed on my own? TIA

The E1 error seems to be pretty standard across air fryers and usually signifies thermistor failure as you said. You can test the functioning of the probe using a multimeter. If it is faulty, it will likely give you sudden inconsistent jumps in resistance as you heat it.

Replacing the NTC thermistor probe will likely solve your error. Here is a guide for a similar Xiaomi air fryer I recently translated from Spanish. If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you, David! I will give that a shot and report back.

@boocoo I admit the guide is originally written in quite a chaotic manner that I had to partly translate over, so I apologize for any potential confusion that may arise.

I wish you the best of luck.
