There is no means to remove the storage in this series. Apple uses soldered flash chips to the logic board and a custom drive controller chip.

Thanks for the information Dan! Reason: my computer is dying, in that there are keyboard issues (minor, I use external now) but moreso the battery is bulging to a dangerous looking point making a large (1cm?) gap. Also bluetooth stopped functioning. So, I want to have all data for later use rather than only relying upon what I copy (and forget to copy) to an external drive.
