Now that the iPad 3 has been released, with it's huge battery, will an iPad 3 battery fit in an iPad 2?
It would be great if it did, battery life would jump to over 20 hrs!!

No, the batteries are different sizes and shapes, it's not going to happen
You can reduce your brightness, turn Wi-Fi and 3G if you have it off to save battery life, and turn them back on when using them, this will add a few hours to the run time

The connectors are clearly different as you can tell on the iPad 3 battery, and unless someone tries this on their 2, we'll never know.

The battery packs looked similar in the pictures, and changeing the connectors would not be impossible.
Anyway, it was just a thought.
