Looking at the image in Step.21 of the ifixit Microsoft Surface Pro 6 Screen Replacement guide and at Step.21 of the ifixit Microsoft Surface Pro 5 Screen Replacement guide, the LVDS LCD cable has the same part number i.e. M1003336-004 in both.
Searching online for M1003336-004 seems to indicate that it is suitable for both. (supplier example only)
