Logic board EMC and board number cross compatibility

I currently have a MacBook pro with a bad mother board (bad TPS62180 chip which killed the ssd chips) so i am planning to replace the whole logic board, when getting a new board, do i need one with the same board number and EMC number or can i get a better spec board with different EMC number?

As long as it’s designed to fit you can upgrade it with a better CPU, RAM and/or Flash storage!

Now do be careful! You need to replace the TouchID button that is bonded to the logic board and once installed make sure you can link it to your iCloud account, if you can’t it’s not a clean board and you could get a nasty surprise!

so I can put any board from the same model number, without thinking about EMC and all of those things?
