Should I be worried if I accidentally poked the battery?

I poked the phone battery during a replacement with the tweezers available in the kits. It left a tiny hole. Should I be worried and replace it. I didn’t notice a strong chemical smell.

@jeangabriel5999 possible that you only poked through the outer package. You could cover that with a piece of electrical tape. Since we do not know how deep etc. and to remove all doubt, replacing the battery will give you a sense of security that it is now fixed. :-)

Since you have it already open and since you do seem to be concerned about it, go ahead and replace it. One less worry.
