does the A2159 Keyboard Cable power the keyboard

A year ago my little brother cover my macbook with water. I opened it up got all the water out but 3 months ago I tried to use the keyboard and it was not working. so I'm thinking if I tried to change the keyboard Cable power maybe the keyboard will turn. (I tried everything else and It worked just fine only the keyboard)

No, it does not power it. The Touch ID represents the power switch. but when you tap the keyboard when you MacBook air (A2179) is shutdown it will power up the system

To add to Alexis answer - Electronics and Water don’t mix well! The keyboard it’s self is likely damaged from corrosion. You likely need a new keyboard assembly or the full uppercase (which is what I would do) here’s the needed part MacBook Pro 13" (A2159, 2019) Upper Case Assembly it’s expensive as it also has a new battery besides the keyboard.
