Torn wireless charging cover

I also tore the cover installing a new battery in my IP8.

Everything works including wireless charging but the new battery seems to drain really fast.

Could the tear be causing this or did I just get a bad battery.

@charlesmey43117 as long as nothing is internally damaged and you just tore the outer layer, use some electric tape or equivalent to keep it covered to prevent any damage. That should not deplete your battery. Try a new battery and re-evaluate. If you ruled out the battery, then you can always consider replacing the coil.
