1 How can I repaste this laptop?
I can't seem to find any info online. I have the gunmetal one. I looked at the fan replacement guide available on iFixit but it's not clear how much further it is to get to the cooling block. It could just be under the copper piping to the right of the fans, but I don't want to go and do it without having opened this laptop before. Any help is appreciated.

I opened it up yesterday to change the battery, at which point I realized it is a different variant of the laptop, there is only one fan and some small bits were different, so I assume the one in the photo had a dedicated gpu? Either way the battery replacement went great as the part is the same, and I may just try to repaste underneath where those copper pipes connect to. If anyone has any info please lmk.

Good morning,
Generally, you unscrew whatever screws surround the cooling system and disconnect any connectors (fan connectors etc). Once that's done you should be able to lift off the cooler and repaste.
If you need anything else don't hesitate to contact me.
Also ensure you disconnect the battery before starting any of this.
