Touchscreen top half unresponsive

After taking apart my phone to replace the battery, the top half of the touchscreen doesn't respond to tapping or scrolling.

What is weird is the phone thinks the middle of the screen is the "top" so i can still scroll down to my notifications panel but i have to scroll from the middle of it. Same goes for scrolling down to refresh a web page. But anything that requires tapping on the unresponsive half has no work around.

Is this a full replacement or is there a way to calibrate the screen?

Howdy, answered my own question by looking carefully at the digitizer cable. I damaged cord when taking it apart.

Warning for anyone taking this device apart, read the instructions and be very careful near the bottom right part of the screen. You will cut the digitizer cord if you go too deep.

Keeping this up in case anyone can use this. If you are having issues with your touch screen, always double check for damage on the digitizer cable. Especially if you take this apart.

I made the same mistake...What did you do in the end? Did you change the entire display?
