Touchscreen top half unresponsive

After taking apart my phone to replace the battery, the top half of the touchscreen doesn't respond to tapping or scrolling. [br]

What is weird is the phone thinks the middle of the screen is the "top" so i can still scroll down to my notifications panel but i have to scroll from the middle of it. Same goes for scrolling down to refresh a web page. But anything that requires tapping on the unresponsive half has no work around. [br]

Is this a full replacement or is there a way to calibrate the screen?
