I replaced my battery about a month ago--and I didn't notice it until recently (I assumed other programs were at issue), but it seems my internal microphone no longer works. When I test it under "sound" I get nothing. Anyone know where the "internal mic" inputs and connectors are in the MacBook? I basically took everything out to replace the battery. It was working fine before that.

Review Step 31 in this guide MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2015 Logic Board Replacement see if the ribbon cable is fully inserted and the latch is set. Also inspect the cable for any nicks or other damage. If you still have problem, time to try a replacement microphone assembly MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2012-Mid 2015) Microphone
