Power button no longer works after battery replacement.

I just replaced the battery in my 2020 iPhone se and everything works fine except my power button no longer does anything. I’ve resorted to assistive touch in order to turn off my screen.

One time happen this also to me, after optice inspection i find out the power and side buttons flex was cuted. This flex going Under the battery, you can check it when have any damage. Also small cuts can make this problém. This flex is also compatible with iphone 8. For step by stel tutorial i recomend watch youtube. Is not so hard to replace it, but you must put all parts out from housing.

@vojtech59738 your answers are good answers. No worries, you will get the credit your deserve from the community. Milica Vasiljevic @milicavasi95585 needs to slow down. Joint toady and provided 15 upvotes, no other activity. New user and only activity are your upvotes, is always a bit odd. . Maybe Milica Vasiljevic can get involved in providing some answers etc. as well. Always good to have great new people on here.

VojTech welcome to iFixit!

@vojtech59738 I understand. We have all been there. Just remember you will get rep points from the community by continuing to provide excellent answers. the more you answers, the more guides you have and the more you get involved, the more points you will receive. Points are not what it is about. It's about being involved. Being part of the community and helping others. Respect is based on that, it is not based on numbers. You will get the communities respect for what and how you do things, not for how many points you have. It's good to have you on here and I like reading your answers. Those are good answers and they are valid. No worries about anything, just keep on being here and being yourself.

Let the community know who you are by filling out your about page. That way people get to know you and to trust you.
