Why has my bluetooth stopped connecting?

I recently replaced the battery on my MacBook Pro. Everything is working great, except my bluetooth no longer connects to devices (specifically, an apple mouse and a random speaker.) I have gone through the listed troubleshooting steps listed in this article: https://www.guidingtech.com/how-to-fix-b.... I am running Monterey 12.6.6. Any recommendations?

If it happened following a repair, first thing I would check is that all your antennas are connected to the wifi card and in the correct order. Could simply be the antenna connection is loose, meaning it can’t complete connections.

I'll try this. I was having a little trouble securing those three antenna. This was the first time I ever swapped out a battery. I assume it's best to unplug the battery inside the laptop before trying to fix the antenna connections?

@peterdoerfler - Also try resetting the AirPort board. Sometimes the contacts get a film on them.

It was the antenna connections to the wifi card. I had to re-secure the middle one and that did it. thanks!

@peterdoerfler Excellent! Those little buggers have gotten me more than once. Glad it was an easy fix!

Follow up issue. My apple mouse now connects fine, but is super laggy. I've 'x'd' out the connection and re-paired it to the same effect. I also replaced the batteries and cleaned the mouse for any hairs, stray dust. Could this still be an antenna connection issue? TIA
