My Trigger works fine, but the console is thinking its being held in

when the ps5 trigger is left alone the input to my PlayStation will keep giving an output, for example, rocket league, I'm in free play and the car is constantly driving, I've tried resetting it and sony don't offer a warranty or know what the problem is, is there anyone who can help, please and thank you :)

Hey, Callum

The issue can lie in a variety of places. The trigger may have a faulty sensor, or the Controller's ribbon cable may be insecure or dirtied. On DualSense controllers, there is a ribbon connection that tends to be clouded by dust or debris, and can lead to buttons pressing themselves. There also may be an issue with the Bluetooth Module, which can send signals that it shouldn't be sending.
