I had the same problem with my controller but it turns out to squeaking is from the spring in the trigger all I did was hold the trigger down and the spring should be exposed and then just move it to the side with a needle and that should fix the problem

Which side of the trigger?

Thanks, this worked!Even though it still seems to be out of place compared to the other trigger the sqeaking is gone.

@no170846 on the right side of the trigger you should see the spring exposed,it should still be visible a little bit anyway, the left side is covered with plastic anyway

Thank you so much! I managed to do exactly what you said and worked!

I've had previously put some graphite power on the trigger and it worked for a while, but the squeaking had returned.

crwdns2934285:0crwdne2934285:0

unfortunately, no

the only way it could be without disassembling is if something is stuck in it.

you should check for liquid/semisolid damage (squeaking probably means food grease, butter, ect. got in the trigger)

https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/DualSense+C...

however, is your controller under warranty?

also many people are complaining of issues with the triggers on this controller, so i would expect a recall of some sort, but i would still try to fix it in case

if there are any food grease in the trigger can i clean / remove it without disassembling as well ?

also yes my controller is still under warrenty does it cover the squeaking ?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

you could if you have a small enough item that could clean out the grease

but if that doesn't work, i would go the warranty route

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

thank you so much for this comment, all i did was hold down the trigger and blow into it and that seems to have removed whatever was stuck in it and it removed the squeaking.

It’s probably the spring that’s the issue. Use some WD-40…works like a charm.

It's probably just out of place like Juan's comment said,i would advise trying that first before using WD-40
