unable to read last block of this device cant reset my iMac

i want to reset my imac because i have dropped it and a white question mark shows up so i watch youtube videos and they dont work because i cannot erase the drive says "unable to write last block on this device" i need help

I don’t think you reset anything, did you try to restore the OS?

A blinking question mark in a folder is telling you the drive is messed up. This can happen after a good bang or having the system fall over. It doesn’t take much to damage a spinning Iron drive (HDD)

You should bring your system into a Mac repair shop to fix this as you’ll likely need a new drive.
