MacBook is slow(er). Can I replace the processor?

Hello,

My macbook pro (late 2013) has served its time with me. I has started to run slower. Not distractingly slow but noticeably. Is there a way to replace the processor? or can anything be replaced that could make it run faster? or would you just recommend riding this out and getting a new one? I still have over 80 GB of storage left as sometimes that can slow it down when it gets too full. I included some info below about the mac if that helps. Thank you

Well, you can’t replace the CPU chip as it’s soldered to the logic board. But! You can replace the full logic board.

Now the question is which board? You could jump to MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2013) 2.6 GHz Logic Board and I would jump to 16GB as well. Here’s the guide MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Late 2013 Logic Board Replacement
