Monitor problem HP 27xq

I have these light streaks that appear in some areas and disappear in the midst of the colors

I never erased the screen and I don't know what to do

And the problem frustrates me in some games when it appears

I want to point out that what I noticed is that these relics were in the form of menu icons for a game I played a lot ( Although it is not very clear, I made sure that it takes the same place and shape as the icons in this game ).

(It is noticeable that this defect does not appear in the five colors R-G-B & Black & Withe = with app UDPixel)

Hi @kinglords

Can you try another monitor to prove whether the problem is in the display or perhaps the computer, GPU for example?

Does it only appear in games?

@jayeff

First, thank you for the reply.

- I used another computer with this display and same problem

- I changed the cable from Displayport to HDMI since I relied on Displayport a lot (same problem with HDMI ).

Does it only appear in games?

The problem appears all the time, but it is noticeable that the longer i use the screen, the more lines appear, which are basically, as I said, words and icons of the things that I use for a long time.

I have the same issue with mine, thought it was something I had done... And its out of warranty now too :(

@kinglords

It's almost like screen burn in but you'd think that it would be noticeable when testing solid colours as well.

Maybe try a different resolution (frequency refresh rate <144Hz) and check.

If the monitor is no longer covered by the warranty you may have to open it up and check for anything obvious on the control board, although I think that it's more likely to be the LED pixel drivers in the panel, which are internal to the panel

Here's the service manual that may help.

I changed the screen resolution without any difference

I changed the frame refresh rate without any difference (144Hz - 120Hz - 75Hz - 60Hz)

In the solid color test, the problem is almost not seen, it is there, but you must check to notice it

As for the warranty, it ended. I even tried to open it and only opened the first cover. The truth is that when I completed the rest of the stages, but until here, there was nothing that aroused suspicion.

@kinglords

I think that the problem is in the panel as it is always in the same location on the screen.

@jayeff yeah I think that (panel )
