Can you replace the wifi card with one compatible with Wifi 6?

Hey, is it possible to replace the wifi card with one that supports wifi 6 or 6e?

No, because there is no wifi card, the chip is soldered on the board directly.

Get a USB one if you want to upgrade wifi.

To add to Tom's answer,

You may just want to get a USB-C or Ethernet to 802.11ax (WiFi 6 or WiFi 6e) unit to plug your iMac into if the distance or its to difficult to wire your system directly to your wired router.

USB-A connections can only offer upto 5 Gb/s and not going to give you the improved throughput WiFi 6 can offer

USB-C based devices can offer 10 or 20 Gb/s and 10/100/1000BASE-T (RJ-45) Ethernet can both easily push 802.11ax (WiFi 6 or WiFi 6e) 9.6 Gb/s connection if that's your reason to upgrading.

There are very few USB-C units that are compatible with macOS unlike Ethernet which doesn't need device driver support. Which is why I would recommend going with it instead.
