Can you elaborate a bit on this? Are there any symptoms?
Do you get any warning messages or anything?
I would first start with installing HWMonitor and keep that running, and monitor it. See if it's a spike in temperature just before it shuts off. It could very well be high temps that makes it shut off, which can be caused by several things.
- Old thermal paste that needs replacing
- Clogged up fans and / or air vents
- Dust buildup inside that prevents air flow for cooling
