Replacing LogicBoard can it be upgraded to the 2.5 GHz Core i7
Can I Replace the 2.3 GHz Core i5 logic board 16G ram in a 2017 Function Keys model MacBook Pro 13" Retina laptop with the 2.5 GHz Core i7 logic board

To be clear this series came in four configs an i5 2.3GHz and a i7 2.5GHz either with 8 or 16GB of RAM.
So yes, you could swap out the i5 with the i7 board MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Function Keys, 2017) 2.5 GHz Logic Board but given the cost & limited performance improvement, I don't think it's worth the effort.
You might want to look at the newer M series 13" MacBook Pro as a better investment and gain a lot more performance!

So to be clear just replace the computer or replace the i5 16 GB with newer M series 13" MacBook Pro logic board?
@preternatural.ladd - Sorry if I wasn't clear, I was implying I would just buy a new M series system than going with the logic board swap (there is no M series logic board that would fit in your system).
