After comparing the photo you attached with photos from our teardown for this device, I don't think you'll have any issues with that. It looks to me like the issue is caused by a different shape in the fact that you have to use an adaptor to fit a standard-sized SSD where the old big-disc hard drive went. Worst-case, I would just use some basic electrical tape to secure the wires similarly to how they were before you replaced the drive.

@danj Hi, sorry I thought I had uploaded the picture. Here it is. Let me know if you need more. I replaced my HDD with the Crucial 1TB from iFixit. The only thing is the temperature wire harnesses makes the previous connection a little more cumbersome. I just want to make sure before I close that it’s acceptable.
