Why is my phone overheating after a screen replacement?
I bought an iPhone SE 2020 and it had a broken screen, I replaced the broken screen carefully and made sure not to break anything or damage the device. The new screen works perfectly and as intended. However, when booting up the phone it heats up FAST, so fast that you can barely get 5 min of use out of it until the ‘temperature warning’ screen pops up and the heat eventually shuts the phone completely off. One thing I noticed after using the phone is that I wasn’t able to turn the WiFi on, so not sure what’s going on there, but I’m just wondering what I would have done wrong here. As far as I’m aware I completed the repair flawlessly. I have also tried swapping everything back to the original screen and the issue still persists. If anyone knows what I might have possibly done wrong please let me know
