mmm… This is not a new battery! It’s been sitting on a shelf since 2015?? Or is this your original battery??
Sadly, batteries wear out just sitting on a shelf or even inside of a system which is always plugged in to power.
So is the information here from the wrong battery or is SMC messed up. Let’s carefully disconnect the battery and with nothing plugged in press and hold the power button for a good 15 secs to fully discharge the logic board. Now carefully plug in the MagSafe leaving the battery disconnected. Your system should start wait till you get to your desktop and anything that’s auto loaded. Once everything has finished shut down your system and now reconnect the battery. Now this time restart your system, let it run for a good 5 minutes with the MagSafe connected and then take a fresh snapshot posted it here for us to see. Let’s see if things changed.
