Can I replace the display on my Mid 2011 27 inch iMac with a 2009?

Hello, I did a lot of Googling but I could not find a concrete answer to this, whether it’s a yes or a no, or even a maybe. I have an iMac 2011 27 inch with a bad LCD (the backlight is failing intermittently). I also have a 2009 27 inch iMac, would I be able to use the LCD from the 2009? Any relevant information is appreciated. Thanks!

Sorry, the answer is no, the display assembles are different.

While the base LCD panel panel is the same the thermal sensor and T-CON board are different on the back. The 2011 panel also has a better backlight as the burnt plastic design in the 2009 would cast a yellow tint.
