Is this battery safe to use?
It has small little scratches on it I was wondering if it is safe to use or not?

As long as they don’t feel that deep, it’s usually not super dangerous - but, you want to make sure they stop at being surface layer.
That just looks to be surface layer to me, so I wouldn’t worry about it *too* much. Now on the other hand, say you were doing a major repair I might say replace it but a simple repair? It can be overlooked.

They feel very shallow I can barely feel them, but is there a chance this might cause the battery to bloat or anything. I just got this battery to replace my old one which started to bloat.
@Michael L Yeah if it came like that, I wouldn't use it.
