Why won’t my phone turn on?

Hi,

I have an iPhone 5C.

I plugged the phone in, the screen lit up for about a second, and then it turned black.

I tried to force restart it, but it didn’t turn on.

I thought it was a battery issue, so I opened it up, but the battery appeared fine.

I unplugged the battery, and it still wouldn’t work.

When I turned it on, the Apple logo didn’t appear, it might be a screen/graphics issue?

I’m not sure what the faulty part is.

I’ve got data on it that I want to recover.

Any suggestions?
