I’d boot from an external source, reformat the dive, run Disk Utilizes on it and then try installing a new system from the external source.

This failing, it’s time for a drive replacement:

Even though it was working perfectly fine before? I had reinstalled the OS then it turned off again so i reinstalled after, after that is when it no longer booted. If the SSD is plugged it, it doesnt boot past the chime. If i tkae out the ssd i can do command + R to recovery mode easily

Don't try to do a restore from a drive that's not in the machine, The recovery files and your data are all on the same drive. So do the the work on the internal drive from an external.

This SSD has a known issue! Apple issues firmware fix for Toshiba SSDs in 2012 MacBook Airs & Apple Recalls Mid-2012 MacBook Air For SSD Replacement – 64GB and 128GB SSD Systems Affected

Its a bit on the late side, but its possible you just don't use your system that heavily so it took a bit of time.

Sadly, Apples extended warranty program has ended for your system. Time for a new drive!

The Apple SSD is a bit faster than the OWC drive, but its more expensive.
