My battery light is flashing but is not holding a charge

Not sure why my speaker is not holding a charge , I had on charge over night and woke up this morning and the battery light was only flashing on one

It may be that the battery is failing and needs to be replaced.

How old is the speaker? Even rechargeable batteries have a lifespan.
