To make sure you have this exact model please locate the name of the model on the back of the device. This should be located in the middle, on the back, in white bold letters. MP3 Player with bad port

I have 2 of these. (One went bad and I bought a second one which also went bad)

Port went bad on both so I can’t charge or retrieve files.

I disassembled both to gain direct access to the battery but am unsure how to proceed.

(Unfortunately, these have a ton of files whose backups I have lost or I wouldn’t bother.)
