My kid got the chain stuck stuck in the celling fan.

My kid was messing around with one of his toys and somehow got the chain stuck in the celling fan. Any advice?

Hi @bob1011 ,

What is the make and model number of the fan?

Post some images of the problem. Here's how to do this on ifixit Adding images to an existing question.

I suggest that you disconnect the power to the fan (fuse, circuit breaker or if this no good because of no lights etc tape over the On/Off switch on the wall (if there is one) to prevent the fan from being accidentally started until the problem has been fixed

pull on the chain to untangle it from the fan and if you rlly don't want to do that just cut it
