Can I use iPhone 8 lens on SE 2020?

The glass cover on my SE lens is cracked. I see that the housing for the SE 2020 and iPhone 8 are supposed to be identical, though not all parts are interchangeable. The iPhone 8 lens part listing on iFixIt doesn’t mention the SE under compatibility. Does anyone know for sure if it will work before I take the plunge and try it?

If you are just looking to replace the rear camera lens, I believe those are the same size and can be swapped, especially because the cameras themselves can be swapped between the two. As for the whole housing, unfortunately Apple made some changes to the SE housing that prevent you putting an iPhone SE inside an 8 housing (and vice versa).
