The Canon EOS Rebel T5 is an 18MP DSLR camera released in February 2014. Also known as the EOS 1200D and the EOS Kiss X70.

My shutter works but it shows nothing on the picture.

My camera stopped taking pictures and videos a few months ago. I’ve checked the shutter and it works well. It’s just that everywhere I shoot the picture looks completely black. I’ve formatted the camera a couple of times and checked tons of different configurations but none seems to work. Any help?

Btw, I tried to turn all the way up the exposure of one of this black pictures and it turns out the image actually gets some information

Xabier Pérez  going by your description and your images this looks like a failed image sensor. Canon EOS Rebel T5 Image Sensor Replacement replace it and re-evalaute
