Procedure to save WhatApp messages to a separate drive

I used to download my WhatsApp messages in a separate drive till yesterday. It use to pop up a window asking where to save now this morning it says download complete.

How do I restore to the old procedure on my 2017 13” MacBook Pro Fn system?

I'm sure you could go into the settings file altering the default location to a different folder.

You'll need to speak with WhatsApp support folks to find out how. As I don't know more that this.
